Test a complete user journey

Open the product as a new visitor and complete its main workflow: find a service, fill out the form, receive confirmation and check that the inquiry reaches staff. For a store, follow ordering, payment and subsequent status. Finished individual screens do not prove that data travels correctly through the entire sequence.

Make deliberate mistakes

Leave a required field empty, enter an invalid email, submit twice and go back. Check that messages explain how to correct the problem, entered information remains available and an accidental retry does not create a duplicate. Error states are part of the product and determine whether users can recover without assistance.

Distinguish configuration from a working connection

Configured email, payment or delivery settings do not prove the complete workflow. Run agreed checks in the intended environment and record the observed result. For notifications, verify receipt and content; for inquiries, verify staff visibility. Clearly distinguish test operations from actual production behaviour in the acceptance report.

Check actual usage conditions

Review key pages on a phone and a computer, complete the form with a keyboard and enlarge text. Test long names, empty lists and slow loading. On a bilingual site, review both languages, including errors and email. Translating a short heading does not prove that longer text will fit the same layout.

Prepare a response to failure

Assign a launch owner and a contact route for problems. Clarify where errors appear, how backups are checked and who decides whether to roll back. Creating a backup is only part of the task; the restoration process must be understood. Agree on the work window and what happens if the launch is stopped.

Create a concise readiness record

For each key workflow, record the outcome, test environment and outstanding issues. Separate launch blockers from improvements that can wait. Readiness should rest on observed evidence rather than an overall impression from a demonstration. After publication, repeat the essential checks at the production address and assign a monitoring period.
